Monster Math - Halloween Word Problems

Happy Halloween! This download contains 36 Halloween math word problem task cards for 3rd, 4th or 5th grade students, 2 student recording sheets, 1 sheet of individual student assessment tickets, and an answer key. Math subjects include: addition and subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, area, perimeter, measurement, time and money.

Two suggested uses for these cards:
Suggestion 1: Laminate the cards and place in a math center with recording sheets for individual student practice. Students choose 4 cards, noting the card number, their work and answer on recording sheet.
Suggestion 2: Photocopy student assessment tickets (1 ticket for each student). Provide students one assessment ticket and one word problem card. Students note their name, card number and record their work and answer on the ticket. This can be used as a quick assessment to determine general understanding of word problems.

**Task cards come in both color and black & white**
**Please not this unit is similar to my Monster Math Jr. unit, but this unit is intended for use with intermediate students.
