Money Management - Videos, Guided Notes, Smart Starts, and Activities

This low-prep, editable money management unit will teach students about budgets, income, expenses, savings, and credit. Videos are included, so that you can assign as part of sub plans or to virtual learners.  Unit is divided into 5 days, complete with a smart start, guided notes, and activity for each day. 

This purchase includes:

• 10 journal prompts for students to complete as a Smart Start or Warm Up. Each day provides students with two prompts to choose from.  
• 5 days of guided notes for students to complete using provided videos OR provided teacher instructional slides
• 5 days of instructional slides for teacher to review students’ guided notes
• 5 videos that students can watch to complete guided notes. Teacher may use these videos in lieu of teacher instructional slides. Videos also explain instructions for activities.
• 4 activities that use websites like Zillow and Indeed, challenging students to connect real world examples with the learning targets
• Link to Gimkit that corresponds with the unit. Works great as a pre-test or a review!  (Link is posted as the Day 1 activity for students.) 

All files are editable and can be easily assigned to your students through Google classroom.
