What educators are saying

This helped create a fun science class for my students. They mentioned that building molecules was one of their favorite science activities that year.
Used as a station activity with molecular models purchased on Amazon. Will use again for biomolecules!

Description

This 10 page sheet contains building card guides for 20 small molecules. It's great for early chemistry and for science centers and activities.

It includes Acetic Acid, Butyric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Oxygen, Acetone, Chloroform, Hydrogen Sulfide, Phenylethanol, Acetylene, Ethanol, Leaf Alcohol, Skatole, Ammonia, Ethene, Methane, Sulfuric Acid, Antifreeze, Formic Acid, Nitrogen, and Water.

This set is designed as an introduction to molecular modeling for students of all ages. It includes 3-D images of the molecules as well as the 2-D graphic representation so that students can become familiar with building molecules without the 3-D visual aid.

The set is designed for use with the Duluth Labs Student Molecule ball-and-stick building set, but may be used with many different variants including marshmallows and toothpicks.

The set is designed to print on card stock, cut apart, and laminate for protection.
