What educators are saying

This was great for my students who were unable to make it to the concert. It included many composers that we had studied throughout the year, so it gave them familiar choices to pick from.
This is an amazing resource. My students that are unable to attend after school performances can complete this activity. I love that it is not punitive. My kiddos loved this and felt like they were contributing.

Description

How do our student musicians make up for the lost educational experience of a concert due to an absence?

Here is an assignment that I give to students who are unable to be at a concert (for whatever reason.)

The students may select a musician from the list provided or they may choose a musician who they are interested in who may not be on the list.

I have "fine tuned" this assignment throughout my over 25 years as a music educator.
