What educators are saying

My 3rd graders are in love with minecraft. They absolutely loved this. We are trying to get students to write more in math so we had them explain their picture and name it.

Description

My students LOVE Minecraft, so I wanted to create an activity that combines their interests and math. Assign a set of Minecraft Math Google Slides to each student in Google Classroom. Students find the area and perimeter of eight Minecraft characters. The final few slides contain questions about their findings. Finally, students order pictures of the characters from least to greatest area and perimeter. I have also included a coloring craftivity where students can design their own Minecraft character.

This bundle includes:

●  A copy of Minecraft Math Google Slides

●  Instruction pack which includes an answer key, directions on how to assign,
and scratch paper for student calculations

●  BONUS - Minecraft coloring sheet where students can design their
own character

Thank you so much for checking out this item!
