Description

As a middle grade/middle school teacher, I always have a handful of parents that want ideas for how to help their reader. This FREE resource was designed to give parents tangible and helpful ideas to get their learners reading.

At the middle grade levels, it is so important for parents to see that we really need to keep working on their love of reading, their vocabulary, and using their time with ingenuity in mind. This can be tricky at this age, because many are used to more worksheet and comprehension check type activities.

I started handing these out to my families who are looking for ideas, as a way to put research-based practices in their hands. There is also a reading recommendation hand-out for parents and learners to use, when looking for book ideas.
