    The Pillars of Lent Readings and Lenten Planning Activity for Middle School - Includes three pages of information and ideas for the pillars of Lent. The included student activity and bulletin board component asks students to consider how they might include prayer, fasting, and almsgiving as part of their Lenten journey.

    Ash Wednesday Reading and Crossword Puzzle for Middle School Students - Informational readings provide history, background, and some lesser-known facts about Ash Wednesday. Students use the readings to complete a crossword puzzle assessing understanding. An answer key is included.

    Beyond Lent: The Number 40 in the Bible - An informational reading provides background about the significance of the number 40 in scripture. Students then use a Bible (or an online Bible) to complete a scripture search of these examples. An answer key is included.

    Stations of the Cross Reflections for Middle School and High School Students - This is one of my central teaching pieces during the Lenten season.
