Description

Updated!! A fun game that will introduce students to the daily life of serfs in the High Middle Ages. They will learn not only about the serfs' obligation to the lord, but likewise the lord's responsibility to the serfs. They will also learn about the daily activities, food, and difficulty of the peasants' lives over the course of this simulation. This package comes with everything necessary to play the game after you receive it: background information, teacher and student instructions and preparation tips, printable money and animals, character bios, week schedule with activities, post-activity discussion questions

Students will each have a character bio, and their goal is to get food each day while facing various circumstances. Check out my preview for some additional information. My students said it was one of their favorite activities of the year, and they really seem to understand life under a manorial system with the onset of a monetary economy.

There are multiple different bios based on various characters ranging from Mister Who and Lord Benedict Cumberbatch II (which the kids seemed to really enjoy) to Harry Poitier and Bell Air (Fresh Prince). If you have any questions, feel free to message me.
