Middle Ages Feudalism Matching Game or Flash Cards

This matching game has a set of 18 common Middle Ages vocabulary words with matching definitions. Print the number of sets you need and cut each set together with a paper cutter. I usually have students do the matching in groups of 4 so I usually need 8 sets. Remember to only print pages 2-7 for the game cards. Pages 8-9 are the answer key. Tip: Have envelops or elastics ready to keep sets of cards separate!

I like to do this activity at the beginning of the unit to see what students know and again at the end of the unit as test prep. It is also a fun way to start or break up a lesson and gives them a chance to be interactive while learning.

Students may ask to take the game home to help them study. If this is the case, you can reprint the set but when cutting, leave the word and its definition attached, then fold it over and glue it so it becomes a flash card.
