This bundle has more than a month's worth (6 weeks - 6 products) of microbit BEGINNER INTRODUCTORY lessons, games and activities that use the BBC Micro:bit circuit board and its coding environment "Makecode", for a perfect, easy and fun Technology lesson and programming / STEM / engineering / technology introduction.
The products and activities are compatible with the following devices:
- Any microbit (both v.1 and v.2 are compatible with all of the activities)
These are the names of the robotics activities included (in the correct teaching order):
- Microbit BEGINNER Intro FIRST lesson presentation
- If-else statement introduction
- Rock Paper Scissors game coding
- AutumnLANDIA board game with coding
- Microbit light show project with external LED,crocodile clips and colorful cards
- Measuring LIGHT using a bar graph and a "Light smiley" program
Most activities/lessons require only a microbit, its usb cable and a battery cage.
Each of the products has:
- Detailed teacher's notes, containing additional info on how to set everything up, what you will need, how to play the games, how to do the activities, and some advice from my experience with my students
- Detailed presentations/main files - start with them to teach the short theoretical part (or revise it in 5 minutes) and then use them to show screenshots, the task's text and other useful things
- .hex files with the complete tasks code
- All of the printables you will need for the activities that require it
