Mentor Text List Aligned With All Common Core Reading Standards

**Updated 8/2/15 with new titles and Lexile levels!

This resource includes a list of over 4500 book titles to teach 49 different Common Core literature and informational reading standards. The book titles are organized alphabetically by skill within each literature and informational standard. Lexile levels are listed for you to determine the reading level/grade level that is most appropriate for your class. If a Lexile level is missing, it is because there is no Lexile level listed for that title in the Lexile database.

You can use these books to introduce reading skills as a whole group or in small, guided reading groups. They can also be useful when assigning literature circle books or independent reading to reinforce the skills you have taught. A wide range of books is included for each skill.
