Description

this is a 3 day unit that deals with the impact of social media on mental health with a specific focus on teenagers. The unit deals with:

- The pros and cons of social media

- Algorithms and marketing from social media companies

- The Neuroscience behind what social media can do to our brains

- Critical thinking and strategies we can use to limit and control our social media use.

With regards to material, there are several videos, discussions, debates, and articles that pertain to the above topics, with a culminating writing activity that summarizes the material stated above, and how students can change themselves for the better.
