Description
Welcome to The Wonder Maps,
Let's learn about countries around the world! This fun, collaborative activity features countries on all continents.
This is the MEMORY CARD GAME of the countries around the world. This is a class activity to be completed in teamwork, which is a great manner to get your whole class involved!
Memory card game details:
• Cut your cards.
• Color them. You can use markers, colored pencils, or crayons.
• You can paint the background simulating the ocean in a very light blue color
You can ask your teacher to laminate the cards, they will last longer!
MEMORY CARD GAME INSTRUCTIONS:
- Shuffle the deck of cards.
- Lay all the cards face down on a flat surface, arranging them in rows and columns.
- The goal of the game is to match pairs of cards. Decide who goes first.
- Remember where each card is located because you will need to match pairs.
- If the two cards are turned over by a player match, that player keeps the pair and gets another turn. If the cards do not match, the player must turn them back over, and it becomes the next player's turn.
- Pay close attention to the cards that have been revealed and remember their positions. This will help you make matches later in the game.
- Players take turns until all the cards have been matched. The game ends when there are no more cards left on the table.
- After all the cards have been matched, count the number of pairs each player has collected. The player with the most pairs at the end of the game wins.
AND HAVE FUN WHILE PLAYING AND LEARNING!
