Description

I believe in doing things authentically- or as authentic as possible. So when teaching about the Middle Ages, I wanted to do a coat of arms project that was "real" and so I spent days researching how medieval arms were designed and the significance of each element from shapes, to color, to symbols. Students get a copy of this and use it as a menu of items to design their own family coat of arms. I encourage them to spend time with their families to make one that is truly representative of their family's values.

Medieval Coat of Arms Project Rubric sold separately.
