Description
Measuring in inches especially to the 1/4 inch can sometimes be a challenge for my students. So I made this set to help review the quarter inch concept. It contains:
*Reference ruler bookmarks in color and black and white. I also have included a pocket if you want to keep the bookmark in an interactive notebook. This reference ruler helps students remember the fractional parts of an inch.
*Large rulers and a interactive ruler to help students see the measurements better.
*Five measurement cards to be used in a center. They are in color and black and white. Each card contains 8 things to measure. An answer sheet and answer key are available as well. Matching worksheets also included for these center cards.
*Five worksheets to practice measuring to the nearest quarter inch. Answer keys are included.
*A teaching poster with the fractional parts of the inch shown.
**When printing the three worksheets without a ruler do not click “fit to page” or any other way which may change the length of the items on the page. Please check the measurements on the three worksheets. If your printer did not print them accurately, I have included rulers to be copied and these will measure the worksheet correctly.
