What educators are saying

Engaging exercises make learning math fun and accessible. I've seen significant improvements in their understanding and confidence. Highly recommend it for any classroom!
My students really liked this activity but thought it was very challenging. I recommend doing it in small groups, as they had a lot of questions.

Description

Bring science, math and technology together in one fun activity! Looking for a fun and interactive way to teach your students how to measure angles using protractors?

With this measuring constellations activity, students will find the degrees of different angles found within each constellation while using a protractor. Students will also conduct online research to find information for each constellation such as major stars and what season is best for viewing each constellation.

This dual-purpose activity engages students with constellations and conduct research for specific constellations.

What’s Included:

  • 5 pages with multiple constellations
  • Student page explaining the activity
  • Answer key

Your students will love practicing using a protractor in this hands-on way. You will love how easy it is to implement into your classroom; simply print, and add protractors. This activity pairs perfectly with any constellations or measuring angles unit!
