We used this as an end of the year activity to bring students together in the final days of school and create something to decorate the school in the coming year.
Description
Students will LOVE assembling this beautiful poster that celebrates poet and civil rights activist Maya Angelou, black history, and the importance of being yourself! The full Maya Angelou quote on the poster reads, "If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how AMAZING you can be."
Simply color in each individual poster piece, tape each piece together (or mount the pieces to bulletin board paper), and display. Finished poster measures approximately 30” long by 38” high.
