Matter - Digital Interactive Science Notebook

Matter Chemistry for Kids - digital version for use with Google Drive™. With this resource, your students will work with the states of matter (solid, liquid, gas, and plasma) as well as physical and chemical change. This is based on the interactive notebook portion of this printable Matter resource. Please note that this resource does NOT include informational text.

This is a digital interactive notebook resource, so please only purchase if you have the resources to use it (computers/laptops/tablets, etc. and Internet access). The pages are colorful and tap into a range of skills. If you have a Google classroom, this is a great way to bring fun to learning about matter.

What You'll Get

• Instructions on using the resource, with examples (10 pages): Also includes instructions for using with Microsoft OneDrive.
• Digital Interactive Notebook (22 pages): includes fill in the blank activities, word cards so that students can define the terms, sorting activities, and labeling activities. A mix of drawn images and real life photographs are used in this resource. Pages include:
  • A general page for each of solid, liquid, gas, plasma (can omit if you do not teach plasma, but recommended!)
  • Sorting pages for the Properties (1 page) and Examples (1 page) of each
  • Definitions page (3 options, 1 is blank)

Why should I use a digital interactive resource instead of a paper one?

• You will save paper and ink, increase technology fluency, and support a green environment.

• Digital files can be accessed anywhere you have an internet connection! No need to worry about losing papers or keeping track of handwritten notes.
