Description
Matryoshka Dolls, sometimes known as Russian dolls, nesting dolls or Babushka dolls, are a much loved & cherished stacking toy. This is a fun way for students to create their own set! They can use one of the templates provided or come up with their own unique ideas!
This resource includes:
- A title page, both in colour and in black and white: This can be used as a title page for a bulletin board display of students' work or students could colour the page after reading the background information.
- Background information sheet on Matryoshka Dolls.
- 3 full page dolls to decorate (patterned, basic design, blank)
- Instructions on how to create the set of dolls.
- 4 different types of nesting doll sets (5 per page):
- Full colour for teachers to use as their example
- Set of black & white dolls with a pattern on them
- Set of black & white dolls with only the basic details added
- Set of blank figures for students to create ANY themed set that they would like (e.g. animals, book characters, cartoon characters, sports players)
