What educators are saying

I love this resource. I printed them on bright colored paper and my students often refer to them when solving word problems.
What a great (and super cute!) visual to display in the classroom. This resource made it easy to point out various names students might see when working with different operations. Love it!

Description

Hello All,

Do your students struggle with understanding maths word problems? Do they struggle to decode what a question is actually asking them?

If so, you definitely need these posters in your classroom!

This product includes a colour version and a black and white version. They are both different designs. The black and white design is designed to be printed on coloured paper.

There are 5 posters which includes the following operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and equals.

As well as having them to look pretty on your maths bulletin boards, be sure to implicitly refer to them when teaching to encourage students to do this when working independently. These posters will help teach students associated language to each operation which will help them understand any maths question they are faced with!

Please let me know what you think.

Enjoy!

If you are after another design of operation key word posters that aren't designed inside symbols, check out my other design here:
