What educators are saying

This was a great final project for my juniors! I gave them class time to work on it instead of them doing it independently. It worked very well.
It was a great activity that I used at the end of the year after state testing was over. It was a nice breather for all. They got to research alot of really great mathematicians. They had fun.

Description

This mathematician research project allows students to research a famous mathematician and then to use their research to create a cover for their interactive notebook (binder or folder). This will help teachers be able to return IANs back to students quickly while also allowing students to learn about the mathematicians that created the math that is used today. This lesson could take 1 to 2 class periods.

Be sure to check out the preview to see a student sample of the final product!

What is included?

  • teacher directions
