What educators are saying

Very well organized and a great resource for teachers and students. I loved how it brought history into the math class!
Used this to create a bulletin board in my room. I wanted to give my students inspiration and show them famous people from all walks of life and how they use math. Loved this resource and highly recommend!

Description

Looking to expose your students to mathematicians that look like them? This bundle highlighting 22 different mathematicians achieves that. These posters are great for Black History Month, Women's History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month and/or Pride Month.

Included are mathematicians from all different types of backgrounds, different sexual orientations, different homelands, different skin color, different life experiences....

Each poster shares a picture and information on the mathematician highlighted.

Upon downloading you will receive a zipped folder. The folder hosts a pdf file that has all posters together. The posters can be printed from there. The folder also holds a folder of picture files. These picture files can be used to share the posters with students virtually. They can be inserted into virtual classrooms, into classroom activities hosted online, etc.

MATH TEACHERS HAVE SAID:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I love that this resource has mathematicians from this century!! And people from all walks of life--different background, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and other outside interests even outside of mathematics. I'm so excited to hang these in my room so my students see present day mathematicians who look like them!" -Katie P

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"This is exactly what I was looking for. I am excited to use this resource to tie in more modern mathematicians with my more historical ones that I have connected to each unit of study for the year. Thanks so much!" - Math Ideas
