What educators are saying

These cards helped me to create a math word wall. I printed them and laminated them for durability. They help me when I am introducing new math concepts and reviewing previously taught concepts.
This resource is great for allowing students to see and become familiar with these words that they will see throughout the year.

Description

This bright and colorful pack will look terrific in your classroom AND these are kid friendly! Every vocabulary word has a brief definition written in simplified, but mathematically accurate, language and colorful illustrations that are perfect in Grade 2.

This word wall matches seamlessly with my Personal Math Dictionary found here:
Personal Math Dictionary (K-3)

There are a total of 92 math vocabulary word cards included. The background color of the card corresponds to the Common Core stand that is most applicable. This makes your Word Wall look incredible!

Also, there is a suggested vocabulary word list for every 2nd Grade Common Core standard. This makes your lesson preparation a breeze!

There are four size options included: You can choose:

There are a total of 92 words included. You should check out the preview file to see the comprehensive list of words.

The Common Core Standards were studied carefully to make sure every 2nd Grade word you may need has been included (in fact, there is a list of the standards and suggested words for each standard). However, if there are any additional words you need, there is a set of editable blank cards so that you can add in any words or definitions you want. You can even type in the words in matching fonts so everything looks seamless.
