Math Vocabulary- math word of the week

This product is intended to increase math academic vocabulary. It is designed to take a couple of minutes a day and is separated into days so that the word is explained, described, discussed, and worked out. This can be used on daily announcements because the words are specifically designed to cover multiple (sometimes all) grade levels.

Day 1 & 2- Descriptions, & Real World examples

Day 3- Discussion questions (open ended)

Day 4- Multiple Choice Word Problem

Word of the week Files:

PDF files are separated into announcement use and classroom use. Announcement use is one page with all the days’ information so the announcement crew can read from one paper. Classroom use is for teachers to display in classrooms. These have visuals to aid in understanding.
