Description

Why do I need math kits? Math kits are great for students to have quick access to many different math resources. The kits can be used in the classroom, but also travel home with students. They are great for introducing, reminding, and reteaching skills to students. This math kit is designed for students in kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and intervention.

How do I prepare the tool kits? Just print on any color/thickness of paper, cut, and go! I recommend laminating for durability. Laminating also allows students to write on the tools with an expo marker and wipe it off. I suggest keeping the pieces in gallon-sized bags that easily zip close to prevent loss of tools.

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
