What educators are saying

I purchased these a while back and still use them every year. I laminate them for longevity, but I'm so glad to have access to them. Thank you.

Description

These math talk posters are designed to support your students in having independent conversations about problem solving in math. The posters indicate not only a question or stem to get the conversation going, but also the sentence starter that the other students can use to help him or her form an answer.

You'll get:

* 8 black and white 8.5x11 posters with math discussion starters

* 4 black and white 8.5x11 posters with conversation extenders to help students expand on the discussion

* All 12 posters in a smaller size (4 to a sheet) so that you can print them as cards or reference tools that students can keep at their desks or in centers

* 3 pages of tips for using the posters, introducing them to students, and creating a classroom environment that supports problem solving

Click the green preview button above to see all 12 posters and read the tips for free!

Or, read more about how to use math talk cards/posters to promote student-led discussions on my blog.
