You are covered with this resource. It includes a PDF printable version as well as a Google Slides™ digital version. Each of the 12 packets includes math, language, and science modules. Each module presents various activities that promote higher-order thinking skills. Students must analyze, evaluate and problem-solve as they work. The packets are generally appropriate for 4th grade and 5th-grade students depending on their ability and skill levels. Great for gifted and talented students or those needing extra enrichment. Students will engage in various math puzzles and problems and math riddles. The language activities focus on grammar, spelling, punctuation editing and comprehension cloze exercises that require inferring information by using contextual clues. The science modules present articles and questions and the opportunities to do some scientific research on interesting grade-appropriate topics. Full training is provided for various puzzles and activities included in this resource. The unique format of combining math, language and science in a motivating and effective way makes this program a favorite among many grade 4 and grade 5 students.
The PDF version makes use of QR codes and the internet for immediate feedback or to access research articles. Although QR code capability is not required, it does enhance the experience if this technology is available. Full answer keys are also provided.
