For each puzzle, students are given two equations that have pictures instead of variables. They must use both equations to figure out the value of the pictures.
The puzzles increase in difficult within each set.
Students will come up with lots of methods for solving, which can lead to great math discussions! They may use logic, guess & check, or even elimination. They will be solving systems of equations (but they probably won't realize it)!
Puzzles are included as printable task cards and as no-prep PowerPoint Slides to display for the class to solve.
