Are you prepared to teach positive and negative numbers using addition and subtraction? Are you scared of teaching negative numbers? Do you know that there is an easy way to teach positive and negative numbers? Well, I am happy to help you get prepared for classes by giving you this amazing lesson plan.

I wrote this lesson plan for my grade 7 class and was surprised to see my supervisors at the back of the class. Luckily I had planned all activities on the weekend. I was prepared. One of my supervisors gave me a thumbs up during the lesson. This boost my confidence. I knew I was on track.

It took me all weekend to prepare for my classes. Now I am happy to give you this lesson plan so you can use the time to mark your students assignment and write on reports. Plus, you can tweak the activities to suit your style of teaching.

All 4 activities are included for you to use with your class. the activities begin with basic addition of objects. Your students will love you for this because it is easy. The images are fantastic and the text is big.

Colors are used throughout this lesson. Red is for negative while green is for positive. Your students will associate these colors with the stop light. Remember to tell them that they are in danger if they run the red light.
