What educators are saying

Thank you for the easy resource!! I use them as a math center option with my 4th graders. They LOVE getting to use playing cards to do math. It is fun and engaging!
I am a k-5 Math Lab teacher. I am using all these ideas for things like sub plans and my glow parties with glow playing cards ;)

Description

Looking for an easy-prep Math Station choice?

I have compiled directions for 16 math games that can be played using ordinary playing cards. Many of these games can be readily found on the internet, but here they are all together for your classroom use. The work has been done for you!

Direction sheets can be printed individually for students to practice math skills using a specific game, or stapled into a booklet to allow student choice.

The games included cover a variety of skills, and include tips for increasing, or decreasing, the difficulty to easily differentiate for all student skill levels.

Once students have learned the rules and procedures for the games, they can play cooperatively without teacher direction.

Place these direction sheets, along with playing cards, in a Math Station rotation for a quick, fun activity that can be used all year.

Direction sheets included for:
Addition War
Multiplication War
Hit the Target
Place Value Pyramid
Place Value Battle
I Spy Products
I Spy Sums
Make It Large
Give Me 10
Subtraction Battle
Addition Battle
Multiplication Battle
Multi-Digit Multiplication Battle
Find the Area
