2) The Second Pack is a Set of Balancing Equations Logic Puzzles for 5th and 6th Grades. These logic puzzles have students decide which numbers (1 from each jar) need to be moved to another jar to make the sum of all jars equal. It improves logic, number sense and grit.

Ideas on How to Use this Product in Class:

1) Print this packet off and use the worksheets in the following ways (Students write directly on each worksheet):

A) Enrichment for High Achievers and Gifted Students - Use as enrichment for students who have already mastered the above skills.

B) Early Finishers - Give a sheet, starting with #1, to kids who finish their work early.

C) Remediation for students in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade - Worksheets do not list
the intended grade range (G5-6). You can use this product for students who will

2) Print off this packet, laminate the pages, and use in the following ways (students write on the provided Student Answer Sheets).

A) Bell Work - Post a laminated page on the board for students to complete each
morning (or show the PDF on an electronic display like a SmartBoard).

2) Math Center Class Challenge - Place the laminated packet in your math center
and students complete as many as possible. Post the top 10 students on your Brag
Board. I recommend putting each level (easy, medium, hard, champion) on a metal
ring so they don't get mixed up or lost.
