What educators are saying

My students loved using this after taking State Tests in the morning. We had a shortened math period so this gave them something fun to do after a tough morning of testing!
Great! I bought this since I was curious about how these worked. One of my student was working on one-step equations for his math class, I gave it to him and he had fun! If I was a math teacher, I would definitely buy more of these to keep my students engaged!

Description

Practice substituting values for variables in equations with this engaging challenge!

Students work in groups of 4. Each group member gets a different sheet of equations to solve. They color the spaces according to the solutions. Once all 4 pieces are complete and assembled, a picture of a pug in a suit and tie is revealed.

Students will know if answers are wrong if the picture looks wrong.

This is a great way to engage students and motivate them to do math!

Equations involve adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Whole numbers and decimals are used. Students have a solution bank, so they can substitute values to test them out.

Answer keys are included.
