Math Activity and Craft Progressive Bundle, Independent Work, 5th 6th Grades

Growing Bundle of seasonal math activities, crafts and craftivities for 5th and 6th Graders.

This bundle will have seasonal activities focusing on math and art with frequent writing elements. This bundle is appropriate for 5th and 6th graders.

This is a growing bundle, or progressive bundle, of fun math activities! The activities can be completed independently and are lovely for distance learning*, early finishers, enrichment, math centers and whole class activities! The earlier you purchase, the cheaper the cost. Who doesn't love a great deal! As I add products, the price will continue to rise accordingly. I am committing to adding a minimum of seven seasonal units (each unit has 3 challenges) by June 1, 2021. That is a commitment of 21 STEAM challenges by June 1, 2021. WOO HOO! COMMITMENT COMPLETED! I will leave this progressive bundle open as long as my TpT store is open and add as I create.

Distance Learning:

This bundle is a mix of resources that will work for distance learning depending on your need and technology. Please read the description of each product to learn about the options for distance learning. Each seasonal unit has 3 challenges. Challenge 1 and Challenge 3 are most commonly PDF versions and need to be printed because they require students to color and cut out pictures. These make for wonderful take home independent work packets. Challenge 2 is most commonly offered as a PDF, PowerPoint and Google Slides and works well for BOTH online learning (Google Slides) or a printable take home packet (PDF). A direction page is included for all challenges to foster independent work. Differentiation is built into each challenge for your emerging learners.

Ideas on How to Use the Math Activities Within the Classroom:

1) Enrichment for High Achievers and Gifted Students - Use as enrichment of
addition, subtraction and multiplication of decimals to the hundredths and whole numbers for students who have already mastered these skills.

2) Remediation for Emerging Learners - Use the differentiation options to allow students to practice their math skills.

3) Early Finishers - Give early finishers one or two of the three challenges within a seasonal unit and keep your favorite to use with the whole class!.

4) Bell Work - These make for fun and enriching activities for Bell Work (these activities will take more than one day's worth of Bell Work).

5) Math or STEAM Center Class Challenge - Place each challenge in your math or STEAM center and students complete as many as possible. Post the top 10 students on your Brag Board.
