Description
Great end of year project for students to work on after state testing. Requires students to partner up and plan a theme for a restaurant, develop a floor plan, make a menu, calculate surface area, find percent change, create an advertisement, and present their restaurant to the class.
Presentations are done in class in a 'shark tank' manner where students are competing to be chosen as the winner. Classmates and the teacher vote to decide who came up with the best restaurant!
Usually takes about 6-7 in class days to work on (in block periods). Can also work on at home if you would prefer that!
In class presentations typically take 3 days (block periods).
Great project, kids love it and keeps them working until summer break!
