Description

Want to make your classroom library even more organized? Who doesn’t! This individual book label set corresponds with my book basket labels. Check them out in my store if you haven’t already! Simply print on mailing labels and stick on each individual book. Your students will easily be able “book shop” and return the books to the proper basket, without asking, “Where does this book go?” Organizing your classroom library has never been so simple!

Download includes: 48 files of each label title below. Each individual file has 30 labels per sheet, corresponding to the book basket label title. Each label also includes the matching picture, and teacher’s name. If you’d like to see the clip art on the remaining labels, please see my other book basket label listing (for the actual book baskets/bins).

I use my classroom library for an at home reading program. Students take home 5 books from my library each week. Because of this, I included my name on each label. Personalizing the labels with your name is very simple!
All you have to do is hold down the “Control” key and press “F” (Command + F for Mac users) The “Find and Replace” box will appear. Simply type “Mrs. Thomas” in the “Find” box, and then type your name in the “Replace With” box. Then click “Replace All”. Done!

How to Print: Insert mailing label sheet into your printer. Generally, mailing labels are 1” X 2 5/8” (I used Avery 5160). I had to put my sheets face down, but every printer is different. I have printed these from 3 different computers and have never had to select any special options when printing.

Organizing my classroom library made my life so much easier! I could easily find a good book for a read aloud, and my students could easily navigate the baskets to find books of interest to them. I hope you find these useful. Happy reading! :)
