Description

In this activity, students have the opportunity to research Martin Luther King Jr., his life, his accomplishments, and other aspects. Students will use their research information from their planning page to create a one pager. One pagers are meant to be artistic illustrations of information so students are encouraged to add color and images to the one pager.

What's Included:

Teacher Instructions

Research Planning Page with Guiding Questions

One Pager Instruction Page

Research One Pager Template

Teacher Grading Rubric

Extension ideas:

-Have students present their work to a small group. They can compare/contrast the information that each member of the group has found. This will also give them the opportunity to work on their speaking and listening skills.

-Have students present their one pager to the class. You could have them present only one section of the one pager to prevent students from hearing the same information over and over again.

**This resource is part of the Black History Month One Pagers Bundle! This bundle includes one pagers for 25 influential people for students to research for Black History Month!**
