This packet comes LOADED with activities to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.! Close Reading passages recount important events in his life. Response sheets will give students practice in reading for details. There is also a singable Shared Reading song/book that uses photographs to recount highlights of his important life. Our original lyrics are easily sung to the tune “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”. This Singable is designed to help primary-age students understand the importance of this American leader in our country’s history. A variety of writing papers in color and B/W are included for students to write about their dream for this world.
This product features a Mini-movie of this Singable!
The ZIP folder includes an M4V file designed to be shown on a computer and/or large screen. This is an engaging (and easy) way to teach the singable to your class. The mini-movie includes the pages of the “book” AND our voices singing the song!
In order to play the mini-movie, Quicktime Player is needed or another program that converts an M4V file.
