Product Description
Your students will have 45 minutes to escape your room in this immersive learning escape game about Mars. You are the commander and as you read the scenario, build up the suspense for your students to crack the codes for 6 locks and several challenging clues! They will learn facts about Mars and complete a math problem to breakout of this chaos! This Breakout does use real locks and boxes to add to the real feel of escaping!
Goals of a Breakout Room:
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Inference learning
• Develops problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Promotes communication skills
• Enhances curriculum- science and 4 digit subtraction problem
• Encourages perseverance
Included: Detailed instructions including pictures, Answer keys, guided steps, activity sheets, science facts, magic decoder wheel, link to 45 minute timer, reflection questions,and signs saying they broke out or didn’t break out. If you have never done a breakout you will love this one as it is very organized and ready for your use!
Resources Needed: You will need Internet access, devices, resource books on Mars, a Breakout Edu Kit, donations or purchases from Amazon, (links provided) an additional 4 digit lock, and optional prizes when the students open the box.
