Excellent for Grades 6-10 English Language Arts, History, or Homeroom/Advisory.

Editable template to make changes to fit your needs!

Option to post as an interactive notebook for students or print and distribute sheets as necessary. 11x8.5 sizing on slides to allow for easy print.

Part 1: Discover & Discuss the origins and importance of Women's History Month & significant women in history. Overview of women's history included.

Part 2: Select a woman to research and complete scaffolded worksheets to organize findings. List of over 50 women included and organized A-Z and by field (athletics, philanthropy, politics/justice, STEM, literature).

Part 3: Synthesize research to outline and write a paper about this woman from history and her influence.

Part 4: Create visual representation of takeaways.

Part 5: Share research paper or visual with class.

Assign for independent completion or complete with scaffolds and support in class together. Option to spend a 2-5 classes on this assignment.
