March Music Madness | Meter Music Sorting Activity | Time Signature Centers

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to review meter and time signature with your elementary music students? This March Madness Music Meter Sorting Activity is a great way for students to practice rhythm reading and meter identification in a fun and interactive way!

Just in time for the big game...Meter Madness! This meter task card sort helps students recognize durations and how they fit into each meter or time signature. 40 task cards with standard notation rhythms are included. Students read the rhythms on each card and sort them into the correct meter stack.

As an extension activity, students can play each of the rhythms on instruments or write them on a separate page to practice writing rhythms.
