Description
Both Making Words & Word Sorts are timeless, engaging ways to make phonics instruction in your classroom successful and fun! Students are able to hear the sounds in the words, manipulate their letters to make words (small group/class), and then work with their words for the word sort (independent). Students will love to find the "challenge word" that uses all of the letters!
There are 25 phonics lessons available with 2 options (50 student pages total):
1) "Making Words" with flexibility to use whichever words you would like students to make
2) "Making Words" with specific words that would be needed for the "Word Sort"
Product contains:
-Chart showing exactly which short & long vowels, vowel teams, r-controled vowels, etc. each phonics lesson targets
-25 Lessons in order of difficulty for word sort
-Teacher directions for making words
-List of words made by each "challenge word"
