Making Inferences Powerpoint - R 2.2

This is an excellent powerpoint to teach the comprehension skill of making inferences. This powerpoint has been used in a third grade class to meet ELA standard R2.2. The powerpoint contains 14 slides following the Explicit Direct Instruction format. Slides include: learning objective, activate prior knowledge, importance, concept development, skill development, guided practice, and closure. Making inferences is a reading skill that is important at all grade levels.
