Description
Make Your Name Into a Fraction is great for fraction beginners or fraction experts! Students are able to make their name into parts based on how many letters there are in their name. Completing this activity shows students mastery of identifying parts of a whole, unit fractions, and even ties in some ELA concepts identifying consonants and vowels. Let your students bring in their creative side too adding their own colors!
Works great with standard fraction tiles! Tiles fit perfectly into rectangle shapes and on the number line!
