Description
This 7 page handout packet it perfect for middle school students (and higher level elementary students) who are learning about the Major Biomes. The packet starts by introducing the 7 Major Biomes they will be researching and gives them some requirements on what to look for. Each Biome has its own section for students to record their research.
After all Major Biomes have been researched, there is a section for students to analyze certain biomes by comparing and contrasting them with other biomes. The packet ends with a blank world map and directions for the student to create a color coded biome map.
There is a Teacher Notes page with links to good websites and some of the answer the students will research (not all answers can be provided because of how much they will vary).
