Easy to Read Task Cards
There are a total of 16 task cards at two levels. One set of task cards has questions to help identify the main idea and supporting details. The other set allows students to find the main idea and details on their own.
Picture Task Cards
Use photographs to help students practice speaking or writing about the main idea and details that they see. One set also includes a word bank.
Puzzles
The main idea puzzles have a category in the middle and pictures of items that can be found in that category. This is a simple way to introduce main idea and supporting details.
Materials are available in both color and black and white.
Digital Reading Passages
There are 16 passages for students to identify the main idea and supporting details. There is space included for students to type their answers and directions on how to highlight text.
Digital Photographs
Use photographs to help students practice speaking or writing about the main idea and details that they see. One set also includes a word bank.
Digital Puzzles
The main idea puzzles have a category in the middle and pictures of items that can be found in that category. This is a simple way to introduce main idea and supporting details. Students drag the supporting details to the main idea. Comes as either one main idea at a time or four.
