Description
Christmas Main Idea Jeopardy style game show for 2nd to 5th Grade!
Want to have some FUN on those days of school before Winter Break? Here is a suggestion: a GAME SHOW!! Five fun categories that will get your kids laughing, thinking and having a good time. And, best of all, getting in lots of great practice with main idea!
This download INCLUDES a copy for Google Classroom! Great for Distance Learning. The GC version does not include scoring and the point values do not disappear...this is just a limitation of Google Slides. However, the fun and learning are STILL THERE!
Categories include:
Home- (ex) What do these words have in common? coats, fireplaces, hot cocoa (They are all words that have to do with things that keep you warm.)
Outdoors-What do these words have in common? skis, sleigh, sled (They are all words that have to do with things that slide on the snow)
Christmas-What do these words have in common? cookies, milk, note (These are things left for Santa.)
Songs-What do these words have in common? Blitzen, shiny nose, reindeer games (These are words in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.)
Movies-What do these words have in common? North Pole, bell, train (These are things in the Polar Express.)
These games do not appear to work on Macs. If you have a Mac, please pass on buying this product.
You AND your kids are going to love choosing which "contestants" team they are on. When you get the correct answer, check it on the screen, then click YOUR team's contestant to be awarded the points!
Having problems? Don't fret! And certainly don't give feedback yet! Let's get this game going! Just drop me an email at iTeachTinyToes@gmail.com so I can get it working for you. Then, of COURSE you'll want to leave some love so you'll get credits for future TpT purchases! Also, let me know which contestants you'd like to see on the show!
If you have a smartboard or any other type of interactive whiteboard, you can also use the projection from those and just use the interactive portion without having to convert the file to whatever it is you use! If you're able to "play" a regular powerpoint, you should be able to play this one too!
