Calendar cards can also be used in a classroom calendar pocket chart if you wish.

This download includes 16 different colored flip classroom calendars to be displayed on a magnetic curtain rod.

Simply pick your favorite style or color that matches your classroom décor! Then, print, laminate, and hang. (I printed mine on regular paper instead of cardstock because it makes cards more flexible & easier for the cards to flip. That's all you need to have a beautifully displayed date on your whiteboard!

Make it a student classroom job and have your kiddos help you change the date daily and not have to worry about it yourself! : )

In addition, I have included a blue and a red option that will be perfect for bilingual or dual language classrooms that need to post in both English (blue) and in Spanish (red).

I also include three extra cards in English and Spanish that allow you to display the past, the present, and the future date so you could have "Today is... yesterday was.. and tomorrow will be..." "Hoy es..., ayer fue, y mañana será". You would require three magnetic curtain rods placed one underneath each other and place these labels to the left of the rods to set it up this way.

STEPS For Setting Up Magnetic Curtain Rod Classroom Date:

• First go through and pick your favorite color, or one that matches your classroom theme.
• Print on regular paper (not cardstock).
• Laminate and cut out.
• Use a hole-punch to attach book rings. Use whatever size works for you or what you already have in your supply closet.
• You will need to purchase a magnetic curtain rod. I bought a set of 2 on Amazon (link here) for $20. I will display both the English and Spanish dates, so I needed 2. These extend to 28". You can also print at 80% if you want to make it smaller. (The Spanish date can get a little long.)
• You will need 3 rods if you wish to display "Today is..., Yesterday was, & Tomorrow will be".
• That's it! Make it a student classroom job and have your students change daily for you!
