What educators are saying

Second graders were able to build the track. We used large pieces of left-over laminating film. K & 1st used tracks that I pre-made.
VERY satisfied! One of the BEST activities I have used all year! Loved it! Students were engaged at all levels and materials were SUPER SIMPLE!!!

Description

Learn more about magnetic forces and how they are used in transportation. Use a magnetic force to propel you train forward in this paper model of a MagLev train.

-----------------------------------------------------

These kits were designed to bring more students hands-on STEM experiences at opportunities to explore further at home.

Many families ask for ideas for activities, but are faced with obstacles like: limited or not the correct supplies, what activity to even start with, making deeper educational connections, and resources to learn more.

STEM Snack Pack activities, like this one, was the solution to the problem.

-----------------------------------------------------

When implementing these STEM Snack Packs at my school, we charged $5 a month for anyone who was interested in the kit. The cost covered all of the supplies (along with the fancy box) for 4 themed activities.

If you wanted this to be a fundraiser, consider charging more money and part of the proceeds could come back to the school.
