Description

This quick lesson that demonstrates the scientific method and can be fun to do around Easter!

Students are given plastic eggs with nails in them and they need to collect data and make observations in order to predict how many nails (or any object) are in their egg.

Materials Per Group of 4:

• 4 plastic Easter eggs (4 different colors)

• 10 small nails (or thumbtacks)

• Balance to measure mass (or a small scale),

• Clear Tape to seal the eggs (they open easily)

Science is a great way to keep kids focused during holiday times!
