MY FIRST FARM - INCOME - EARNING, SPENDING, and SAVING - English and Spanish
Description
Classroom Farm Market - English, and Spanish!!
This Math and SS activity helps students learn to identify ways people exchange goods and services; and the role of markets in the exchange of goods and services. How to make money, buy, and pay, as well as reinforcing communication skills.
Also, this is a great project for the End of the year or the beginning of the year with full instructions for a wonderful role play. First Graders can do it at the EOY and second graders at the BOY.
The students make money in the classroom during a week and save up to buy all they need to build their first farm (animals, shelter, and food items of their choosing).
- Students have to record how much money they have, the items they buy, and how much they spend.
- One student plays the vet who goes to the farms, checks the animals, and makes a report (service).
- All materials, instructions, templates, and printables for a class with 24 students are included.
- Money with 3 different themes: All occasions, Christmas and Easter.
- Pictures of a barn, tractor, fence, chicken home, horse, cow, sheep, goat, duck, hen, rooster, and 3 different animal foods (including hay).
You will be surprised at how the students help each other and try their best!!
